A hotel management company, bmc management is focused on developing a portfolio of leading hotels and resorts located within the Great Mekong Sub-region, namely Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and the Southwestern provinces of China.
Originally founded in 2004 as Bed Management Company, specialized in hotels and destination restaurants, the company was named after the iconic Bed Supperclub, Bangkok. At that time we assumed pre-opening responsibility for the 5 star deluxe Hôtel de la Paix in Siem Reap as well as management of another Siem Reap hotel Shinta Mani.
Over the next 3 years, we opened Hôtel de la Paix, turning it into a leading property in this over built destination, as well as repositioning and turning Shinta Mani into a profitable and globally recognized "responsible tourism destination."
It was during this same period that we provided full technical services to the re-development of Indigo Pearl in Phuket as it went through a major US$20 million renovation and upgraded to a 5 star international standard resort and gave management oversight to the owner and operator of the independent 6 star Trisara resort also in Phuket.
In January 2008, we spun off the hotel division from the restaurant and club group to focus on creating a unique, niche, hotel management company within the Region.
